At Live4Love Charities, we believe love is action—and action changes the world. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the first recipient of our 10 for 12 Program, where we give $10,000 each month to someone doing Good for the Good of others.

We are proud to honor Sue Gillio, a lifelong artist, educator, and visionary from rural central Illinois. 🌾
At just nine years old, Sue picked up a flute and dreamed big:
✨ Meet James Galway
✨ Own a gold flute
✨ Travel to Italy
✨ Start her own music school
She’s done all that—and so much more.
Today, Sue leads Music Suite 408 at the 408 Fine Arts Factory, a vibrant community enrichment center serving 800+ students annually. With 34 passionate educators and four suites spanning 10,000 square feet, her center offers programs in music, visual art, creative writing, math tutoring, and more. It’s a beacon of creativity, connection, and opportunity.

She’s built a scholarship fund to ensure no child is left out due to financial barriers. Her next dream? Launching a work-study program called “Do Your Art Part”—where students gain access to the arts while learning the power of giving back.
🎤 “My local radio station has been announcing it all morning,” Sue shared. “They’ve been playing a lot of Prince music too.”
That celebration isn’t just local—it’s legacy. Live4Love Charities was founded to fulfill the vision of the late musical icon Prince, who believed deeply in the power of the arts to uplift communities. Sue’s work is a living embodiment of that vision.

She’s also envisioning:
🎨 An art-focused Pre-K program
🥁 Community ensembles like mariachi and steel drum groups
💞 A future where every child has the tools to thrive through creativity

Sue Gillio is proof that when love leads, anything is possible. 💫
Join us in celebrating her incredible work—and stay tuned as we continue to spotlight changemakers across the world.
