A youth program rooted in creativity, connection, and confidence.
Live 4 Dance is a workshop experience from Live 4 Love Charities, created to uplift young dancers through professional instruction, artistic mentorship, and a celebration of self-expression. Launched in Minneapolis during Celebration Week honoring Prince’s birthday, the program empowers teens and pre-teens to grow—on and off the dance floor.
Why it matters
Founded by Mayte Garcia, dancer, choreographer, and longtime creative partner to Prince, Live 4 Dance is more than a class—it’s a movement. The program embodies the values Prince lived by: artistic courage, inclusion, and love for the next generation.
